"Perry's is the best place to stay! My dad would always bring us here when we were younger and I loved it! I brought may family here for the first time 3/26/09 to 3/29/09 and they loved it, too! The donuts are wonderful. The employees are great. The lady in the gift shop was so nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, the pool was clean, everthing was great. This is the only place I will stay in Daytona. I had one small problem and management handled it perfectly."

"This is easily the most relaxing, well kept properties in daytona.you can watch the staff every morning from your balcony cleaning the pool a rarity in daytona. The maids are so sweet and so are all of the staff.my family stumbled on perry after having a bad experience elsewhere in a high buck hotel down the street 12 years ago and perry is an annual tradition since. As far as we are concerned perry staff and guests which Are all families by the way make this the best beach destination anywhere. Keep up your hard work you are truly appreciated."

"My husband and I have stayed at Perrys 3 times over the past couple years and each year are even more excited to come back. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and facility could not be any cleaner and the pools are wonderful. Although it is more pricey than other hotels on atlantic avenue it is soo worth the extra pay for everything you get. And the donuts in the morning are delicious!"

"Make a Wish Foundation made my son Jared's wish come true.He wanted to dig for a treasure.We stayed at Perry's and had a amazing time.Everyone at Perrys was so helpful in making Jareds wish come true.The room was wonderful,Ocean front view-North tower..If you needed anything all you had to do was call the front desk and in a matter of minutes,it was there.The pools was clean and it was easy to get to the ocean,just walk out back.Hopefully after Jareds next surgery and recovery, we will return to Perry's,cause after that we will need another vacation!I would love to be able to go to Perrys for another week."

"My family stayed at your resort the last of June, it was our first time. We were well pleased with the room and the overall facility. The grounds, pool and beach access were very well keep. The employees were friendly and polite. The donuts were very good, however one person in my family could not have the sugar so if there could be something for them(maybe other families have this problem). We are planning on staying again in the future and have recommened your resort to others."

"A couple of years ago, we decided to take a vacation close to home. I purchased a gift certificate from a local public TV station for a two night stay at Perry's. We came during Spring Break and brought our grandchildren. The weather turned very cold. The children loved the indoor pool and our vacation was still fun. We've been back three times and have reservations to come this year. My grandkids are saying, 'When are we going to Perry's again?'. There is something comfortable and homey about Perrys. There are plenty of things to do there and around the hotel. The staff is great. See you soon!"

"I decided to take my 4 year old grandaughter to the beach for Labor Day weekend 2009 and we stayed at Perry's. It was wonderful. I made big points with her, as she did not think Grandmaw even knew how to get to the beach as she always goes with her Daddy. She loved the indoor pool, she thought the outside one was too cold. LOL She loved feeding the birds and going to the beach, and the morning donuts with sprinkles made a big hit with her. I will always tell people about the great experience at Perry's."

"I grew up going to Perry's. I watched the North Tower being built and started staying there with my family. We went every summer for 12 years. Before that, my parents stayed in the indoor pool area before it was inclosed. This place is like no other. Always well maintained and friendly staff.
Last year I took my bride for our last night of our honey moon. It couldn't be a better way to finish a trip. They still have the best place in Daytona.

"We had visitors from Ohio and took them to Perry's Ocean Edge Resort for a few days so they could enjoy the beach. The hotel was great! The rooms were very clean and the Staff was friendly. The one thing we really loved was the grassy areas around the property. They overlook the beach and have tables with umbrellas for those who do not want full sun. There are BBQ grills, horseshoes and shuffleboard. There are several other scheduled events each day. We stayed in the South Tower and had a full oceanfront view. You could not find a better hotel at such a great price. We will definitely go back."

"Just returned from my First (but not last)stay at Perry's, the occassion was grandsons 16th birthday, he wanted to go to Daytona Beach with a friend as his celebration and just hang out on the beach etc... I personally rented a Ocean Front Suite in the South Tower, and was greatly impressed as soon as i entered the room....The kitchen area, has needed pots and pan, dishes & utensils, (i brought a lot of things from home as i didn't know they would have all that...Microwave, Full refrige, (that actually freezes ice and keeps reg food cold) stove& oven, Dish towels and dish cloths as well as the liquid detergent., Daughter and her family rented a poolside room, also very adeqate, with kitchenette with all the above included... Room was spacious and i am sure she will be getting her reservation there again when they visit Daytona.... She took indoor pool side because of price and i wanted ocean front so i could watch them when they all went to beach to enjoy the water ...i am not dissappointed at my choice....I cannot make comment about staff because i had no need to access them after my checking in ..but i am sure they are quite capable.... Yes it is an old resort but most hotels are in Daytona Beach area and even some of the 'newer' ones can be a bit shabby BUT this resort was clean and has a nice outdoors area, lacking at other places.
I will be sure to update my comments after my next stay....."

"My husband and I just love it at Perrys. We've been there 3 times this year (2009) and twice in 2008 and once on the golf package. The ocen front rooms with kitchette are just perfect. The heated pool and hot tub are ideal for cooler days when you can't go on the beach. The staff is helpful and friendly. Service is great. A wonderful place for a family reunion--each family can have their own room."

"I've stayed at Perrys at variuos times over the last 10 years or so (I like trying different hotels). It's always been a decent place. Clean, generally maintained well. Nothing fancy. But always a good price place to stay. Sure parking is a pain. But that's a minor annoyance. Even during race week, the place was full but generally quiet. So it's a good place for anyone to consider staying.
Note that the main hotel is wired for internet, but wifi sucks. So bring a cord to connect. Or ask the desk. They provide cords free of charge, as long as you return them ($25 fee if you forget and take off with the cord .. which is not to bad as most cords run in the $15 range)."

"We have been going to Daytona Beach for many years now, and this past Christmas season ran across this place while looking for a place with a heated pool. It is a little farther from the boardwalk but theres not much there anymore anyways. But, you can bus or trolley if you don't want to drive. This is by far the nicest place in Daytona Beach to stay. Many outdoor activities and a beautiful indoor pool and hottub. Our room was extremely clean, needless to say we were very impressed and the price--you cant beat!!"

"The first time we stayed at Perry's was for our honeymoon - 8-1-81 and since then it is the only place we stay when we come to Florida! Three children, multiple job transfers, cancer and soon the birth of our first grandchild is the reason we will be vacationing again at Perry's. Funny story - with 3 small children we were planning a trip to Perry's for spring break week. We tried to make reservations only to find no vacancies! We got into town and went to the Holiday Inn - my husband would not let our kids off the elevator! Wow did we feel old. He drove back to Perry's and we hung out in the lobby for 2 hours till 4:10 when some people were no shows! We got a room and always book a month in advance! Our kids (all of which are in college) still laugh at dad not letting them off the elevator! Looking forward to the next phase of our life and Perry's!
